Primary Responsibilities:
Own shift performance, including safety, quality, throughput, labor efficiency, and waste
• Lead daily shift startup, execution, and handoff to ensure consistency across all shifts
• Actively manage line performance in real time, including:
• Monitoring run rates and output
• Identifying and addressing downtime
• Escalating issues quickly when needed

• Drive adherence to standard work, operating procedures, and GMP requirements
• Ensure all products meet defined quality standards, including weight, appearance, and packaging requirements
• Partner closely with Maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and rapid response to issues
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all EHS requirements
• Lead and develop front-line employees through coaching, accountability, and clear performance expectations
• Ensure proper staffing and positioning of employees to meet production targets
• Drive labor efficiency and minimize waste, including material giveaway and rework
• Conduct daily communication with team members, including:
• Shift huddles
• Clear expectations for performance
• Feedback on results

Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting of shift performance, including downtime, output, and key KPIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FSQA, Maintenance, and Warehouse to ensure smooth operations
• Hold team members accountable to performance, behavior, and attendance standards
• Support onboarding and training of new employees to build a capable and reliable workforce
• Perform other duties as assigned or of a similar nature or level

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar fields.
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
  • Ability to interface effectively with plant personnel, outside contractors, and different functional groups within the business units.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems, finance, statistical process control, and KPI management systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety & quality compliance.
  • Must be very effective working in a volatile and complex environment and work with a sense of urgency that drives effective results.
  • Strong influence management and communication skills, ability to gain organizational buy-in
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making.

Direct Reports
The Production Supervisor will have direct responsibility for managing the following roles:
  • Operations Hourly Employees
  • Responsible for mentoring, performance management, and development of direct reports.
